On Sunday, February 21st we held an open house in both of our Kinderville schools which permitted our personnel to meet future students and their parents. It is certain that parents take an active interest in the education of their children. Our open house permits visitors to become familiar with our academic program, the school facilities and our personnel in a simple and pleasant atmosphere. The following are the questions that were asked most often:
When may I register my child? In fact, the earlier that registration is completed, the better. If you are in the process of considering other schools for your child, please contact our secretary so that she may let you know the availability for the level which interests you.
Where may I purchase the school uniform? Our school uniform may be purchased at Place du Commerce in Brossard. Please contact the school secretary for any details including business hours.
What extracurricular activities are available for my child? Presently, we have afterschool programs for chess, karate and private piano lessons, however, the activities which are offered may vary from year to year.
What value does Kinderville place on the menu choices? Kinderville places a great deal of importance on the menu selection. We recently revised our menus in order to create more color on the plates and a greater variety of flavours.
How would you describe Kinderville's Academic program? Kinderville follows an enriched form of the Minister of Education's academic curriculum. Consequently, the students develop a deeper understanding of subject based and crosscurricular competencies. One of our strengths is the English language education. The students are in a total English immersion program starting at the Pre-Kindergarten level until Grade 1 with classes completely in English. The Grade 2 to Grade 6 classes are taught with half days in English and the other half in French.
We would like to thank our students who were our Ambassadors for the day.
